POPLAR
Populus (clone I 214), tree of Salicaceae family.
Main features:
A yellow-white wood, sometimes with a light or dark brown heartwood and irregular outline; with a medium or coarse texture and quite straight fibre. Average volumic mass: 600 kg per m3.
Uses:
It is used in making furniture and furnishings, for general joinery products, and shelving systems.
