AMERICAN WHITE OAK
Quercus Alba, tree of Fagaceae family.
Main features:
A tree widely found in the eastern United States as far as Mississippi. It is brown, with a straight closed grain and a course texture. Average volumic mass: 720 kg per m3.
Uses:
Oak is easily processed and used in making prestigious furnishings, furniture, chairs and tables.
